A note on Clinical Pilates

Pilates practitioner helping a client extend their upper back using Pilates apparatus

The term Clinical Pilates gets used a lot in the health industry, often associated with Allied Health Providers in relation to assisting in the rehabilitation of acute injuries. It is a common misconception that Clinical Pilates is only associated with Allied Health Practitioner, as the true definition of Clinical Pilates from the Pilates Association Australia, is any Pilates session tailored to the specific needs of the client. It is not strictly related to injury, nor is it strictly related to Allied Health.

We have chosen not to call our sessions Clinical Pilates due to the variety of offerings we have - but please rest assured, all our sessions are individualised and clinical in nature, catering to whatever it is you need on the day, while still accounting for goals established in your initial consultation.
